Swiss-based Air Navigation, founded in 2008 by CEO Johann Huguenin, developed the Air Navigation Pro app. The app includes an extensive aeronautical database and SmartChart technology and is used by more than 350,000 pilots worldwide as of 2023.

To continuously improve Air Navigation Pro, the company partnered with meteoblue and integrated top-precision weather data into the app. This gives aviators access to critical weather variables that support flight decisions and improve safety and efficiency.

Air Navigation partnered with meteoblue to strengthen the weather capabilities of Air Navigation Pro. meteoblue provides high-precision forecasts for any location on land or at sea. Through this collaboration, Air Navigation Pro users can access key aviation weather variables including:

• Ground visibility
• Radar data

These variables can be displayed on a map and on a 3D globe so pilots can view weather in a practical and intuitive way while planning and flying.
